About Stuart
Stuart is passionate about people hearing God’s Word. He spent 25 years helping Lomwe-speakers in northern Mozambique have the whole Bible in the Lomwe language, translating from the Hebrew and Greek. He is often preaching, mentoring Bible translators, or teaching graduate students. And he also writes books.

The Biblical theology of covenant for men and women we have taught, befriended and come along side of for decades. Stuart brings the concepts of his dissertation into the lives and language of church leaders in Mozambique.
Communicating covenant
This academic volume, Stuart’s doctoral thesis for the University of Stellenbosch, traces the concept of covenant from ancient Hebrew culture to modern Lomwe-speakers.
Translating the whole Bible into the Lomwe language with a Bible Society team was Stuart’s main ministry for over 25 years. But the goal was always larger: to teach how good God and His Word are to people who need to hear. Watch the video of the celebration!
